Avenue has some cute and flattering dresses including babydoll, shirt dresses, knit dresses and metallic styles. I just got a cute empire waist dress with beautiful beaded embellishments. They have much more selection online then they do in the stores. Plus sizes 14-32. |

Fashion To Figure is a new brand with 3 stores and an online boutique. They only had about 12 dresses when we last checked, including knit jersey and metallic halter dresses. The construction probably wouldn't be suited for a formal event, but they have some very fun and fashionable dresses at extremely affordable prices. |

While not the most fashion forward, JC Penney's mostly has basic dresses for women with classic tastes. They are strong with dresses for work and also have special occasion clothes, including pant suits. While most of the offering isn't my style, I did see a really cute and trendy little black dress in my size! |
